Elizabeth is a Trauma-Informed Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their healing journeys by employing a holistic approach that recognizes the profound impact of trauma on mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through her therapeutic practice, Elizabeth believes that every person deserves to reclaim their self-worth and experience inner healing.
As a registered member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada, Elizabeth brings together her formal education in psychology and counselling with extensive training and expertise in specialized therapeutic techniques. She is well-versed in areas such as child-centered play therapy, trauma support, and advanced trauma treatment methods. This comprehensive background exemplifies Elizabeth's deep commitment to understanding and addressing the complex effects of trauma, allowing her to provide compassionate and informed support to her clients.
Elizabeth recognizes that religious trauma can shake one's sense of self and purpose, often leaving individuals feeling disconnected and unworthy. Striving to create a safe and compassionate space, she helps clients explore their experiences and reframe negative beliefs. Integrating elements of spirituality into her work, she guides clients through the transformative power of forgiveness, grace, and finding healing through God’s light and love. In her practice, Elizabeth emphasizes cultivating self-compassion, developing resilience, and reconnecting with personal values. With certificates in Anxiety in Children and Youth, Somatic Interventions for Chronic Pain & Syndromes, and as a Certified NeurOptimal® Trainer, she utilizes a variety of techniques to deepen clients' spiritual connections and embrace a sense of purpose and meaning.
Having experienced her own ‘Light Shift’ moment of healing, Elizabeth is passionately committed to guiding others on their journeys toward wholeness, self-acceptance, and spiritual growth.
